Sanctum of Rebirth
Aug. 8, 2024, 2:17 p.m.
With the release of Sanctum of Rebirth, we've added the following categories:
1-4-Man Vermyx (Normal Mode + Hard Mode)
1-4-Man Kezalam (Normal Mode + Hard Mode)
1-4-Man Nakatra (Normal Mode + Hard Mode)
1-4 Man Sanctum of Rebirth Full Run (Normal Mode + Hard Mode)
You will only be awarded points for the fastest time across any group category.
This works in the same way as Zamorak, but with the exception of Solo which is grouped up with 2, 3 and 4 man in this case
Combat beta rules
You are no longer required to show what world you're on as the beta is over.

Dual Wield Combat Beta
May 30, 2024, 4:40 p.m.
Hey everyone,
With the combat beta that started earlier today, all submissions are subject to the following rule:
> Your friends list and the world must be clearly visible for all submissions.
> Anyone caught attempting to circumvent this rule will be dealt with accordingly.
Please note that whilst we may approve records that show indicators which prove the submission performed on the live game, if there are any doubts then we will lean more towards rejecting the submission.

Ranks and Mechanics changes
March 1, 2024, 6 p.m.
Hey everyone,
Starting today, all mechanics have been given a new status which will either be "Reproducible", "Nerfed" or "Exploit". With this change, our rank calculations now include records that use nerfed mechanics. This means that so long as you do not use mechanics we deem to be exploits, you will retain your rank and points, even if that mechanic gets nerfed.
We are also going to begin allowing you to submit kills that use exploits, so each category will have a "for fun/any%" section which shows the absolute fastest, most game breaking way to kill a boss! To clarify, these kills using exploits will not be ranked and will be displayed differently.
We also know that some kills have not been submitted because of the previous restrictions, however we are now accepting submissions for any old kills you have uploaded! Just please mark them with the correct nerfed mechanics/exploits when submitting. If you want the date changed on your submission to reflect the achieved date, please note that we will only adjust it to match the YouTube/Twitch upload date. Leave a note in your submission or open a ticket in #mod-mail to let us know about this request.
We know you might have some thoughts about this and we will be replying in #discussion to answer any questions or make some clarifications about the update.
We expect the powercreep of the Combat Beta to overtake some of the older, reinstated submissions, and the Leaderboards to naturally correct themselves (showing more reproducible records) in due course. However, for now, this is likely going to be a much different leaderboard to what you have come to know!
Many thanks,
PvM Records team

Hey everyone,

Necromancy Nerfs
Oct. 23, 2023, 5:39 p.m.
Hey all,
Following today's Necromancy changes, we have now disqualified all records that have used necromancy up until October 23 2023 - meaning that they now will show up as "Bugged", when searched under "Pre-Nerf Necromancy".
We will slowly be going and attempt to pinpoint any records that should be restored, and restore those manually.
If you believe we have missed a record that should not have been impacted by these nerfs, please let us know!
Thank you,
PvM Records Team

Necromancy Mechanics
Aug. 30, 2023, 10:25 p.m.
We've decided to allow all necromancy submissions for the time being, including those with death skulls bug and special attack cooldown starting on stall instead of cast - Even though we believe these mechanics will get fixed very shortly.
Please add these mechanics when submitting if they were used in your kill

Crit Ult Changes
Aug. 9, 2023, 12:01 p.m.
This change not only ruins a lot of speed kills but also kills a large part of the enjoyment and fluidity of higher-level PvM.
We know that you're probably looking for an answer on what we will be doing about this change and the short answer is we are waiting for it to be reverted.
If there are wider discussions had by jmods surrounding this change and it becomes clear they are sticking to this decision, then we will start planning how to handle this going forwards. We would most likely take all records (using off-style crit ults or not) pre-necromancy release and tag them as pre-crit change. These records would still stand even though they are technically not reproduceable. They would then need to be beaten using new methods.
It's a very unwelcome update that we hope will be reverted soon, although you probably shouldn't get your hopes up. If you have any questions or suggestions for any ways to handle it, please let us know.
Thanks,
PvM Records Team

Automated Discord Roles
July 20, 2023, 10:06 a.m.
Hi All,
Discord roles for achieving a certain score or a certain amount of One Ticks are now automatically granted and periodically updated for users who have logged into the website. These are roles such as “10+ score”, “20+score”, “1st Place Holder” etc. Note that if you have not logged into the website and given us your RSN in the #discord-to-rsn channel, your roles will not have been updated and we will no longer manually update these.
We have also introduced 4 new roles for achieving a certain amount of One Ticks:
• Tick Killer – 1 One Tick
• Tick Tempest – 10 One Ticks
• Tick Tactician – 20 One Ticks
• Tick Perfect – All One Ticks
Working with PvME, these One Tick roles will also sync between our discord and theirs!
As always, if you have any questions, please let us know in #discussion
Many thanks,
PvM Records Team

Search bar, profile, and homepage improvements
July 7, 2023, 10:25 p.m.
Hi everyone,
We've just released some changes to the site that includes the addition of a search bar. We've tried adding as many search combinations as we could to cover any searches you might want to make. For example, if you just type trio HM kera, the search will take you directly to the Trio Hard-Mode Kerapac leaderboards. If you find any searches that don't return expected results or any other problems, please raise them in #report-an-issue.
The site now shows your profile icon across all pages and a drop down for accessing features only available for registered users. We have also given a soft prompt on login to anyone who has logged in but not registered their RSN with us in #discord-to-rsn.
The homepage has also been slightly restructured, in part to allow for this new search bar and profile feature, but also to display announcements on the front page. This should showcase updates better for any user that doesn't use discord whilst also keeping you generally informed of updates we make to the site. This announcement is being posted with a webhook which allows for easier synchronisation between the site and discord.
Finally, we have also updated the OneTickProgress page to show one ticks as Gold if you were the first to achieve them, similar to how they are currently shown on the Leaderboards.
As always, if you have any questions about this update, let us know in #discussion!
Many thanks,
PvM Records Team

One Ticks
July 1, 2023, 6:49 p.m.
Hello,
We are excited to announce the launch of a new feature on the site that allows you to submit times for already One Ticked categories and receive appropriate rewards. With this new system, we hope to provide you with a fresh goal for speed killing!
The Problem:
Previously, our old Google sheet only accepted one submission for certain categories. Over time, this became an issue as it locked people out when a record had not been One Ticked for a long time. Initially, not submitting for those categories was an unspoken rule, but we changed it to prevent users from submitting altogether. However, it became evident that the number of available categories for players was shrinking, and we felt the need to address this.
The Solution:
Now, if you match the One Tick time of a category, you can submit your kill to the site and receive points based on the difficulty of that category. Here are the new tiers:
Novice (1 point)
Adept (2 points)
Advanced (3 points)
Expert (4 points)
Furthermore, we have increased the point value for first places to 5 points (up from 4), while second places now earn 3 points (up from 2). This means that if you are the first person to achieve a One Tick in any category, you will gain 5 points. Subsequent submissions from other players will only reward them with points based on the relevant tier. You can find the tiers for each boss on the rules page.
Example:
Let's take the scenario of helwyr pleb and BR0U achieving the first 0.6s ROTS duo time. They will receive 5 points for their first place and secure their position as the first team to achieve this One Tick time. We will then assign a tier to this category, let's say Advanced. If anyone else achieves the 0.6s ROTS duo, they will earn 3 points. The submission date does not affect the points; it only reflects the order of achievement.
